The compilation of the Squadron and Group personnel rosters comes from a variety of sources and documents, books, microfilm, interviews and remembrances of former members of the units. Documents utilized include orders, Missing Air Crew Reports, annotated official photos and Group and Squadron Histories where available and readable. This listing may not be all inclusive.

The lists include personnel who were assigned to 11th and 22nd Bombardment Squadrons (M), to Project 157 and/or to the Dawson Project PRIOR to the activation of the 341st Bombardment Group (M). Some personnel listed may have been attached to the respective units, but no documentation indicating their attachment rather than assignment was encountered during the research efforts. Because of the magnitude of the task and the passage of 55+ years at the time the project started, some of the source material had deteriorated. This is especially true of records and photos originated in India and China, prepared on inferior paper and subsequently microfilmed. Much of the information on microfilm is not readable, order only partly readable. Consequently, some assigned personnel or lost air crews/personnel may not be listed.

I apologize for any personnel who should be listed, if only I had known. Also, I apologize for any misspelling of names, some of which may have occurred on the original records, as well as those I made during transcribing or entering into the database. Where various sources indicated different spellings, I used the most prevalent or most logical.
